Alba White Truffle Season: The Jewel of the Earth

Between mid-October and the end of November the city of Alba, in the Piedmont Langhe area, holds the record as the oldest and most established truffle fair in the world: The Alba White Truffle Fair. Visitors can delight themselves with a series of events, all of them with the “white diamond” at the center: Taste the white truffle in all the imaginable forms, be a spectator at the Alba Truffle Show, or even participate at the XIX Edition of the Alba Truffle World Auction. Additionally, the Langhe region is famous for a variety of wines, from Barolo, Nebbiolo, Barbera to Dolcetto and Moscato.
