The Salone Internazionale del Mobile 2023 Edition

April 18th-23rd, Fiera Milano Rho

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile exhibition is coming back and promises to be a revolution in the design world, as Maria Porro, president of the Exhibition, claimed. “An ecosystem of innovation that intensifies global connection” is what you will be expecting from this year Milanese Furniture Fair.

Openness, Sustainability and Research are the three keywords of the event, in a close relationship with the main protagonists of the Fair: Design, Furniture and Lights.
As a matter of fact, the light seems to be the leitmotiv of the 2023 edition with the comeback of Euroluce and their City of Lights, a project created in collaboration with the architectural studio Lombardini22. The major project sees the creation of an ideal Italian city through spatial and
cultural innovation as a place to interact and engage. City of Lights is the result of an amazing collaboration between some of the most skilled architects, curators, interior and lighting designers of the Country. Their geniuses will be seen through the new exhibition set-up as soon as you step into the dedicated Pavilions.

Nevertheless, the Salone del Mobile is more than that, it is also a means for the youngest generation to present their work and connect with the big names of the industry through the Salone Satellite. Among various artist, Gaetano Pesce, international sculptor, designer and architect, whose works are
exposed at the MoMa, will lead the meet-and-greet events.

For what concerned sustainability, Ms. Porra underlined the importance of a Green exhibition
and renewed the effort made in the previous years.

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile seems to be a must-go-to exhibition, not only for experts in the field but for enthusiasts also.
