The many beauties of Lake Como are well-known and acclaimed: from the luxurious villas, where some of the international stars took their vacation residency, to the luscious gardens of another time. The lake has a romantic and picturesque feeling to it that captures the eyes. Between the colorful houses, the vibrant green of the gardens, the flowers in bloom, and the blue sparkling waters of the lake, you would feel in a fairytale.
Other than the main city the lake takes its name from, Como, there are lots of small villages scattered around the shores, each one of them with its unique and characteristic identity but all equally beautiful: Lenno, Menaggio, and Tremezzina on one shore, Bellagio and Varenna on the other, just to name a few.
